About me
Terra Kaliszuk is an Executive Staff Officer in the Professional Development program area of the Alberta Teachers' Association. She brings a passion for understanding and supporting the human journey of learning to all of her work. Terra has led professional learning work for the majority of her career and has facilitated local, provincial, and national professional learning opportunities for teachers and teacher leaders. She has enjoyed a variety of roles throughout her career in education, including instructional coaching, work supporting curriculum implementation at Alberta Education, wellness instructional support work, and (most importantly) as a junior high teacher with Black Gold School Division. Terra holds both a B.Ed. and M.Ed. from the University of Alberta -- her graduate research focused on professional development and sustaining professional change.
