About me
Samantha Ur grew up just north of Edmonton, where her lifelong love for the outdoors began. With nearly a decade of teaching experience, she specializes in science and outdoor education for middle school students. Samantha is also an executive on the Global, Environmental, and Outdoor Education Council, where she champions innovative approaches to environmental and outdoor learning. She is a 2024 Grosvenor Teacher Fellow, traveling to Costa Rica and Panama on an expedition with Lindblad Expeditions and National Geographic. Her passion for connecting students with nature drives her commitment to fostering curiosity and engagement in the classroom.
