About me
Kristy Smith is an Educational leader with 10 years of experience in leading professional learning communities through her various leadership roles. She has been a school and division leader working with multiple school divisions during the past years of new curriculum implementation in primarily rural Alberta schools. This gives her a unique perspective on Curriculum Implementation as well as the perspective as a parent in having young children experiencing these changes in schools as well. She is a Sessional Instructor at the UofA, has worked with the ATA as an Association Instructor for years delivering PD across Alberta and sits on the Council for School Leadership and Ulead committees. She is committed to doing what's best for students while working collaboratively with the staffs that serve them.
