About me
Stacey Hannay holds a Ph.D. with expertise in the area of theorizing curriculum and teacher professional development. Specifically, her area of research lies with: Teachers conceptualizations of physical literacy. She is one of the newest Executive Staff Officers with the Alberta Teachers Association in professional development. Stacey was a teacher and administrator with Edmonton Public Schools and the previous vice-president of Leadership, Curriculum and Pedagogy for the Health and Physical Education Council of Alberta. Research subject areas include: Curriculum Perspectives and Implementation, Pedagogical Practices, Modes of Inquiry, Physical and Health Education, Land-Based Learning, and Teacher Education K- 12 in the areas of Wellness and Comprehensive School Health.
