About me
Dr. R. Coranne Johnson, R. Psych., is a highly qualified child and school psychologist with a diverse educational background. She holds a B.Ed. with a diploma in Early Childhood Education and a specialization in Special Education from the University of Lethbridge. Her M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Educational Psychology are from the University of Alberta. With over 30 years of experience working with children, Coranne has served as a teacher, administrator, and clinical child/school psychologist.
Through Coranne’s work in schools, she has developed a wealth of knowledge about learning, special education, inclusive education and engaging educational stakeholders in problem solving processes. Her love of teaching and herpassion for learning provides a strong foundation for her work as a psychologist and educator. Coranne is a dynamic speaker who has shared her expertise with parents, educators and psychologists on various valuable topics. She has conducted insightful presentations on subjects like managing anxiety in the classroom, modern parenting in the 21stcentury, and the science of reading instruction.
