About me
Brittany is a certified K-12 Educator and School Administrator in Alberta. She obtained a Master’s degree from the University of Alberta in Educational Psychology and is now a Ph.D. candidate. During her career, Brittany has worked collaboratively with educators as both a Learning Support Teacher and Administrator in supporting student learning. One of Brittany's passions is co-creating supportive and positive partnerships with parents and families. She believes that parents are essential members of school teams because they are experts in the strengths and interests of their children. Brittany is a mother of two children and her son is diagnosed with autism. She has extensive experience as both a parent and Educator in working with school teams, division office staff, consultants, and medical professionals to support students with disabilities. When Brittany is not in school, she enjoys spending time with her family, long-distance running, and reading.
