Information and Digital Literacy in Jr High
Thursday February 13, 2025 10:30am - 11:30am MST
Our students are "...competent in using technology devices but still lack information literacy skills and are marked by uncertainty because they face information overload due to the high dependency on the Internet and inability to solve real-life problems" (Shuhidan, 2020, p. 190).
This session offers tangible strategies to incorporate Alberta’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) curriculum into your classroom practices and lesson design for Jr high ELA, Social Studies, and Science classes.
