The Problem Gambling Resources Network (Alberta) offers gaming and gambling presentations. Our presentations address outcomes specifically in the high school CALM curriculum around gaming, gambling and high-risk activities and are also suitable for the Health and Life Skills curriculum. Presentations are delivered by people with “lived experience” and share their stories throughout the presentation.
In this time of great disconnect, many of us, including teens and young adults have relied on social media, gaming and in some instances gambling, in order to help fill that void. These presentations help bring into the light some of these addictive behaviours, the signs to watch for, and where help is available.
We will send a pen or reusable drinking straw to teachers and all students who book a presentation at the conference.Presentations are free of charge. To book contact: info@pgrn.caWatch the video on feedback from one of our presentations:
